The Best Athletes Cup in Track and Field will kick off in Brest, Belarus on 12 July,

The Cup will bring together almost 300 athletes from Belarus and Russia, including winners of the world and European championships. Four representatives from the country will be fielded in every discipline. All in all, the tournament includes 43 medal events: 21 for men and 21 for women and a mixed event.
The morning program on 12 July features nine finals: two in the 10,000m race walk, shot put and the 3000m steeplechase. In addition, the women will compete in long jumps and pole jumps, and 4x400m relay. The Cup will start at 09:40 with the opening ceremony scheduled at 14:00.
After lunch on Saturday, the program will run 16 events; the men's and women's finals in the hurdles sprint, 100m, 400m, 400m hurdles, the 4x100m relay and the javelin throw. The men will compete in long jumps, pole jumps and 1500m, and the girls in the 800m.
Another 18 medal events will be held on 13 July. These include two finals in discus throw, hammer throw, high jump, triple jump, 200m, 5000m and 4x400m relay. In addition, Sunday will see 800m (men) and 1500m (women), the decathlon for men and the heptathlon for women.
Belarus 5 TV channel will broadcast the Best Athletes Cup live. The organizers of the Cup are the Sports and Tourism Ministry, the Belarusian Athletics Federation, the Sport and Tourism Department of the Brest Oblast Executive Committee, the National Center for Olympic Training in Athletics and also Belsportobespechenie company.
