Lukashenko approves Belarus defense plan for 2026-2030

MINSK, 9 December (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has approved the country’s defense plan for 2026-2030, BelTA learned from Chief of the General Staff, First Deputy Defense Minister of the Republic of Belarus Pavel Muraveiko after a session of the Security Council.

Pavel Muraveiko said: “The head of state has considered and approved all the documents [submitted for his consideration], an action plan on ensuring the military security and defense of our country. A presidential decree on approving the overall defense plan is being prepared.”
